Here’s A Look at My Journey

Struggling with My Health:
In 2015, I was at a difficult point in my life. While happy about my growing family, I felt overwhelmed by the demands of my medical career and personal responsibilities. I coped in unhealthy ways, frequently eating fast food, which negatively impacted my physical and mental well-being.

A Caring Wake-up Call:
The turning point came when my caring wife voiced her concern about how my negative mindset and behavior were affecting our family dynamic. Though it was hard to hear, her honesty motivated me to make positive changes.

Finding Mindfulness:

Seeking help, I attended a workplace session on wellness that introduced mindfulness meditation. I started practicing meditation for 10 minutes daily in my car after work. This helped me become more present and responsive rather than reacting habitually.

Adopting a Plant-Based Life:
With more clarity from meditation, I decided to transition to a whole food plant-based diet and lifestyle. I approached it with an open, compassionate mindset, making gradual changes while exploring new recipes and foods.

Experiencing the Benefits:

By consistently exercising, like hiking with my family, and maintaining a plant-based diet, I experienced remarkable improvements in energy levels, mood, and overall well-being. My transformation enhanced my personal life and ability to guide patients toward healthier practices.
