The doctor's own
transformation.

Dr. Rak ("rock") built Strong for Life because functional strength is what he uses to keep himself well, after losing 75 lbs and reversing his own prediabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. The same training that got him here is what we run in class.

What it is

Strong for Life is functional strength and balance training designed to help you move better in everyday life. We focus on movements that matter, pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, and building stability, so you can feel confident and capable doing the things you love.

This is not about gym culture or extreme fitness. It is about building real strength that carries into daily activities: lifting, reaching, bending, or simply moving through your day with greater confidence and less discomfort.

All movements are adjustable. No prior fitness experience required. Whether you're new to strength training or returning after time away, Your trainer will meet you where you are.

What to expect

Every class follows the same structure.

Consistent structure builds confidence. Each session moves through four phases designed for real results and real recovery.

Warm-Up

Gentle movements to prepare your body, increase circulation, and reduce injury risk before the main work begins.

Strength Work

Push, pull, squat, and hinge movements that build functional strength. Scaled to your level, always challenging, never overwhelming.

Balance & Stability

Exercises to improve coordination and confidence in movement. The foundation of feeling capable in your body as you age.

Cool-Down

Mindful stretching to promote recovery, reduce soreness, and bring your body back to a calm, rested state.
